Rely on Sam Gray to help you make and complete your recording project. Be it in the beautiful sanctuary of the revamped Dub Narcotic Studio or in some other ideal location you provide, Sam’s professional hand will keep the chaos at bay and free you to focus on the music. With a calm presence and a practiced ear, Sam’s recording and mixing expertise has him catch details that might otherwise have been missed. His opinion, as a listener both implicit to the project and removed from it, is always available but never overshared.

Sam’s comfortable confidence with the recording process stems in part from his own bands. Playing in days past with The Emmas, and today with Lean and Woolen Warrior, has given him familiarity with both ends of a microphone.

Sam has lived in Olympia for half a decade, helping songs become more permanent, running soundboards for live shows, and watching the chickens chase one another around the yard.
